Meet Dr. David L. Lopez, a warm-hearted and highly trained psychiatrist who believes that one size definitely doesn't fit all when it comes to mental health care. With credentials from both Cornell and Columbia Universities, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a down-to-earth approach to his practice.

As a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Dr. Lopez is all about practical, relatable methods that make sense for each person he helps. Whether you're a child, a teenager, or an adult, he's got your back.

But that's not all—Dr. Lopez is also a skilled adult psychotherapist with years of experience in deep, meaningful therapies. His treatments are all about delivering real, tangible results that you can see and feel.

Alejandra Wortman, MD

Dr. Alejandra Wortman, a double-boarded, adult, child & adolescent psychiatrist, and psychotherapist, completed her training in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center. Drawing from an exceptional academic background, she brings over two decades of private practice expertise to Philadelphia, after benefiting the communities of Fairfield, Connecticut and Westchester, New York.

With a strong foundation in healthcare and education, Dr. Wortman has made lasting contributions through her work at the Fairfield Child Guidance Center, where she provided invaluable medical support to young patients under the age of 18. Her reach extends globally as she actively engages in providing educational services to schools and healthcare providers, emphasizing developmental aspects, and providing guidance to parents.

Dr. Wortman's unique approach is centered on the well-being of her patients, employing a psychodynamic approach bolstered by contemporary neuroscientific insights into mental health. She crafts a comprehensive bio-psycho-social formulation, considering the patient holistically within their environment.
